Viking Cows

T'was a dark and stormy morn,
over the water you could hear the sound of the horn;
Moooo! Moooo! Moooo!

The bovine marauders came ashore as a swarm.
The herd-leader Angus at the head of the charge,
followed by Holstene and Gurnsy, (the herd wasn’t very large).
Moooo! Moooo! Mooo!

Up from the docks and past market street shops
The marauders stampede, while fleeing villagers recede
Moooo! Moooo! Moooo!

Finally, near the village square of green
The marauders find what they seek, and become less mean.
Moooo! Moooo! Moooo!

Fresh grass, and a milk maid with bucket and stool
To sooth aching udders, and shade to lie in, cool.
Moooo! Mooo! Mooo!
